Beauty Comes from Within

  1. Beautiful skin, hair, and nails come from not only the products on your skin, but also what you put in your body. 

  2. Our skin is a reflection of what's going on in our gut! 

  3. If you have acne, irritation, psoriasis, rosacea, eczema, melasma, or inflammation on your skin, you may want to look into diet, hormones, and gut health first.

  4. Practice self-love and self-care.  Take time for you! Detox from your phone. Focus on what brings you joy. Take a bath, drink some tea, and do an activated charcoal mask :)

  5. Reduce stress by walking, doing yoga, meditating, journaling, and prayer

Diet Recommendations

  • Add collagen to your diet! Instead of getting collagen injections to get rid of wrinkles, why not heal from the inside? Grass-fed collagen (like Vital Proteins) and bone broth (like Bonafide Provisions) make high quality products that will have your skin, hair, & nails glowing!

  • Drink 1/2 your body weight in ounces of water each day! Do not go over 100 oz though. Add a pinch of good quality sea salt or Himalayan salt for absorption

  • Sugar gives you wrinkles! Cut out the sugar and watch your skin TRANSFORM.

  • Remove the top allergens for a time or do a Whole30.  Try getting rid of grains, corn, gluten, dairy, and soy. Even getting rid of one of these can help! 

  • Reduce caffeine and alcohol. These dehydrate you and make your skin tired & dry. 

  • Add aloe into your routine. I like George's Aloe vera

  • Add more veggies. Make veggies the majority of your plate.

  • Add celery juice to your diet first thing in the morning.

  • Add fermented foods to your diet (low-sugar kombucha if tolerated, kimchi, water kefir, sauerkraut

  • Add Omega 3 fatty acids into your diet with Fish Oil (Rosita, Vital Choice, Biotics brands I recommend).
